Curbing Care
Every step is taken to insure that your curb will maintain its shape and beauty for years to come.  Concrete is mixed on site to a very dry, 0" slump consistency.  Fiberglass mesh fibers are added to increase the strength of the finished product.  After the curb is finished, expansion joints are cut in.

Your curbing has a one-year warranty against defects in materials and workmanship.

It will be replaced at no charge if the defect is caused by the materials we use or the way it was installed by our workmen. Your curbing is very tender on the first day.  Do not touch or allow your pets, children, and curious neighbors to touch for at least 24 hours. It will be "hard" to the touch at this point but will sill need a few days to get completely hard. Protcompletely hard. Protect your curbing from foot traffic, hand tools, and power tools, etc. as your curb needs time to fully cure. Never allow a tractor or a truck to run over the curb. After a month, your curb will be cured sufficiently to give you many years of service.

If it begins to rain within 6 hrs after we leave your home, try to cover the curb with plastic. Make sure that your sprinkler system does not come on for at least 36 hours. Irrigation, back was from pools, condensate lines, or rain can damage the curb during the first 24 hrs. If curbing is damaged we will come back and make necessary repairs; however, there will be a charge for this service.

Quality Curbing recommends that colored curbs be re-sealed every two years.  Please call us at 248-486-8992 for maintenance.
