Michigan Landscape Designs
- The Landscape Design process is a multi – faceted collaborative process that combines your ideas with our extensive knowledge and creativity to design a landscape that is both beautiful and functional, while staying within your budget.
- The first meeting involves our designer getting to know you. We will ask you questions about how you and your family want to use your outdoor spaces. We will take the time to walk around the site with you and listen to your ideas, including what you would like to see improved, changed or kept in your landscape design. During this initial visit, we will begin discussing your landscape budget and offer ideas to help you achieve your landscaping goals, this is one of the most important parts of the landscape design process.
- The next step is to complete an assessment of the site. This includes measurement of your house and property, existing plant material and hardscaping, drainage and views of surrounding properties. We take photographs of the existing areas from multiple perspectives.
- Drawing your design begins and a proposal outlining the project installation steps and costs for us to complete the site, preparation, plantinparation, planting, curbing, mulch, stone or brick work, and lighting. If you choose to do any part of this work you will be able to do so by following the scale drawing and the list of materials needed which includes all the plant sizes and specifications.
- When the design is completed another appointment will be set up and at this meeting we will present to you your completed landscape design and proposal.
